In Year 7 and Year 8 students are focused on the following careers aims:
Students are able to understand and be inspired by the careers and opportunities that are available to them in the wider working world, alongside beginning to identify the desirable skills and qualifications required for these routes.ÌýÌý
By the end of Year 8, the programme will have allowed student toÌý

For example, when students examine the structure of the eye in science, they will examine the role of an optician, and the skills required for this career.ÌýÌýÌý |

Within Year 7 students will examine the advantages and disadvantages to working in the charity sector. Students will meet the owner of a local charity (HHCK). Within this curriculum students in Year 8 will complete a 51ÁÔÆæ˜Be Inspired unit51ÁÔÆæ™, which will allow them to explore the following: 4. What is the Labour Market Index and what does this show?ÌýÌý |
| Be Inspired 51ÁÔÆæ¦PodcastÌý | Every 5th week, all Y7 and Y8 students will watch and listen to our internal 51ÁÔÆæ˜Be Inspired51ÁÔÆæ™ careers podcast. This is a Podcast hosted by Miss Woolford, where she interviews past students about how Trinity supported them in getting to the places they are now 51ÁÔÆæ“ we have past students who have gone on to all different sectors and some who are travelling the world!ÌýÌý |

Graduation is our Year 7 & Year 8 character curriculum programme. To graduate students must remain dedicated to meeting the criteria over the course of both Y7 and Y8. Working with local employers it51ÁÔÆæ™s been clear that they are finding the new generation struggle to communicate and interact within the workplace. We51ÁÔÆæ™ve developed 51ÁÔÆæ˜Trinity Talks51ÁÔÆæ™ to support our young people in building strong communication skills in a realm of different opportunities. Within curriculum areas they will present poems, host debates, present factual presentations, all the hope that their confidence with speaking in front of peers develops over the two years.ÌýÌý |

All our clubs allow students to develop skills and knowledge that may be required in differing sectors in the hope that they spark a passion and interest in our young people.
For example, sports clubs will be focused on 51ÁÔÆæ˜Be a footballer, Be a rugby player; whilst other clubs include 51ÁÔÆæ˜Be an activist, Be an Engineer51ÁÔÆæ™, 51ÁÔÆæ˜Be a Scientist51ÁÔÆæ™ and 51ÁÔÆæ˜Be a gamer51ÁÔÆæ™. |
