We are pleased to introduce Suzanne Dutton, our dedicated Careers Advisor, who works with us through the C&K Careers Guidance Team. Suzanne plays a key role in supporting all our students as they explore their next steps in education, training, and employment. Whether they are thinking about post-16 options, apprenticeships, or future careers, Suzanne is here to offer expert, impartial advice tailored to each individual.Ìý
What Does a Careers Advisor Do?Ìý
As a Careers Advisor, Suzanne provides valuable guidance to students, helping them understand the variety of pathways available after leaving school. She supports students in:Ìý
- Exploring their skills, interests, and aspirationsÌý
- Researching different career options, including higher education, apprenticeships, and vocational trainingÌý
- Making informed decisions about the best courses and qualifications for their futureÌý
- Preparing for job applications, CVs, and interviewsÌý
One-to-One Meetings for Every StudentÌý
Every student will have a one-to-one meeting with Suzanne, where they can receive impartial advice on their future options. These personalised sessions are a chance for students to discuss their interests, goals, and concerns about their next steps, and to get tailored advice on courses, apprenticeships, college choices, or careers that align with their strengths and ambitions.Ìý
